Searching the Online Store

It's easy to find the right product at Begin your search by typing your part number, model, brand or other information in the Quick Start box at the top and click on Search. On the home page, we feature our "Popular Motors and Pumps" that shows the most popular items. Follow those links to go directly to the products.

Other sections of include your Shopping Cart, which you can view by clicking the cart icon in the top-right corner of every page. After you have placed an order with us, or have signed up for a customer account, you can sign into the My Account section by following the My Account or Log In links at the top of every page.

Finally, several Site Services are listed at the bottom of every page. This includes our Shipping & Returns Policies, and a link to our Contact Us form.

Searching for Specific Items

At the top-left of every page, there is a yellow colored Search box that allows you to type in the part or model number, or name of an item (or items) that you're looking for. Once you have entered the search terms in the box, click the button Search button to perform the search and see the products that most closely matched your request.

Search Tips: Be as specific as possible. A search for "110223" will return fewer and more relevant results than a search for "circulator."

Adding Items to Your Shopping Bag

Adding items to your Shopping Cart is accomplished in these easy steps:

  • Browse the motors, pumps and accessories to find an item you need.
  • Once you have found a product, click on "Add to Cart." Your cart will be displayed and you can then change the quantity that you would like to buy.  Then click on Update Shopping Cart” to recalculate your total.
  • Click on “Continue Shopping” or enter a new search term in the yellow Search box at the top.  Repeat as necessary!
  • When you are ready to check out, click on the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of any screen.  And then click on Proceed to Checkout.

Add To Wish List

The Wish List allows you to create and save shopping list of items you buy frequently or want to come back to later. 

You can add comments to individual products in your Wish Lists and you can email the Wish List to others by clicking on “Share Wishlist.”

You must create an Account before you can add items to a Wish List.  Click on “My Account” at the top of any page and then “Create and Account.”  If you already have an account, click on Log In and enter your email address and password.

Add To Compare

This allows you to compare different products side by side so you can choose the right one for you.  When you click on “Add to Compare” the item will be added to the “Compare Products” box in the upper right corner, just below the dark blue bar.

Once you have added the items you wish to compare, click on the Compare button and they will be displayed side by side.

Ordering Online (Secured Checkout Process)

When you are ready to check out of the store, click the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner of any screen.  Then click on “Proceed to Checkout.”

The secure checkout process will begin, and is slightly different depending on whether you are a first-time buyer or a returning customer.

 If you are a first-time buyer, the checkout process follows these steps: 

  • You can register, or you can check out as a guest.  Registering allows you to create Wish Lists, track your orders and checkout more quickly the next time.
  • If you check out as a guest, enter your billing contact information and indicated whether it is the same as the shipping address. 
  • Choose an address where you want your order shipped.
  • Select a shipping method for your order.
  • Enter your payment and billing information.
  • You will confirm your order on the last step. When your payment is accepted, your order will be processed and shipped!  You will receive a confirmation email.

If you are a returning customer, the checkout process follows these steps:

  • Enter your e-mail address and password on the first checkout page.
  • Choose an address where you want your order shipped.
  • Select a shipping method for your order.
  • Enter your payment and billing information.
  • You will confirm your order on the last step. When your payment is accepted, your order will be processed and shipped!

Currently, we accept only credit cards submitted online through our secure checkout process. However, please contact us if you wish to make other arrangements.  Volume buyers and school / municipal buyers are invited to contact us for terms or a quote on larger orders. Maintaining Your Account and Order History

Once you have placed on order at, you can view all your past order receipts online. Just sign in to the My Account section with the login and password you chose when you placed your first order. Click the "My Order" link and you can view a list of your current and past orders. You may then view, print or re-order.

We now offer registered customers a FREE 3 year extended warranty on all A.O. Smith brand motors purchased through our website.  Contact us directly for extended warranty claims on A. O. Smith items.  All our other products are covered by the manufacturers factory warranty, unless specifically stated otherwise in the product description.   Retain a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase, and contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims.
